Mimecast’s Fourth Annual Environmental, Social, and Governance Report

I am thrilled to announce the publication of Mimecast’s fourth annual Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG) Report. Our commitment to global resilience and sustainability is a core part of our DNA, and this report captures the impact, the stories, and the data that make up our global ESG commitment. Having been at Mimecast less than a year myself, I’ve quickly come to realize and value the steadfast commitment that Mimecasters have to supporting those around them.

While ESG efforts can sometimes be used to offset negative externalities from companies, at Mimecast, we are proud of the fact that our product and our purpose are inherently good for society. Therefore, our ESG efforts are directly linked to our business model, where we strive to create resilient communities worldwide, through our product, our people and our passion. Our ESG framework is built on a foundation of conducting our business with integrity and to the highest ethical standards, reinforcing data security in our own operations, and building a workforce for the future.

I encourage you to join us on this journey by taking the time to review this year’s ESG report. Within the report’s pages, you’ll find that we’ve made great strides in the areas of environmental sustainability, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI), corporate social responsibility, human capital investment, and corporate governance and compliance. But we have no intention of slowing down, understanding that game-changing ESG efforts do not happen overnight. Our ESG Council is relentlessly pursuing strategies to more effectively measure and reduce our footprint, build a workforce that more accurately reflects the communities where we work, and invest in resources and opportunities that elevate our stakeholders.
