The rise in recent years of cloud-based email offerings such as Microsoft's Office 365 means that SMBs can now get the same level of email protection without having to rely on a gateway, said Mimecast co-founder, CEO and board member Peter Bauer. As risks evolve in the digital workplace, SMBs struggle to deal with multifaceted problems. "It's not just your grandfather's email filtering anymore," Bauer says.
